Immediately when looking at this, without even paying attention to the subject or any specific shapes yet, the colours alone make such a strong and beautiful impact that colour choice and harmony in themselves already turn this into an outstanding piece.
I feel however that the purplish light on the left side of the background should reflect a little on the side of her face instead of just on her hair. That way she would feel even more incorporated in the scenery.
Furthermore it appears like the hair feels a little separate from her head in general since it is not 'grounded' on the head through shadows. Try adding light shadows around the hair line and the neck around the braids.
Be also a little bolder with harsh lines. The softness of the shading creates a wonderfully comfortable feel but should be complimented by a few harder lines such as the line separating face/chin and neck as well as the lines around the nose.
You also did an amazing job with detailing; the markings on the face, the feathers, the irises...they all add to a full and interesting viewing experience.
All in all a really gorgeous work that you should be more than proud of.
